Division of Biobehavioral Research
The Biobehavioral Research Division is a clinical research and education facility with a particular focus on eating disorders, bariatric surgery, child traumatic stress, and mental health care delivery in rural settings.
Our division is committed to working closely with our clinical colleagues to collaborate on scientific projects in a manner that enhances the ultimate clinical value of the work. We believe that the best medical science is conducted in close collaboration with our clinical colleagues, and our patients.
We also place high value on offering impactful education to our colleagues, the health care community and the general public. As well as providing mentoring opportunities for early career investigators in the fields of eating disorders and bariatric surgery research, thus ensuring our continued pursuit of scientific answers to real-life problems.
